About Paige ✌

Ironman Triathlon, 2014

I'm Paige Weslaski, a recent graduate of Pepperdine University in Malibu, California with a bachelors degree in Leadership. I was super active in school; I swam for the swim team, wrote for the newspaper, served as the TV station weather reporter, and was an Alpha Phi Sorority sister during my college career, becoming a Christian in the fall of 2012. Since accepting Christ, I haven’t looked back, working with various churches and serving God by leading Bible studies and youth groups.

The Lord is my shepherd.

He lies me down in green pastures.

He leads me beside quiet waters.

He restores my soul. -Psalm 23

I grew up in Wisconsin, focusing my attention on competitive swimming and triathlons. My parents and brother share my swim/bike/run passion, competing and training with me regularly. My parents, Kevin and Claire, swim for a masters swim team and compete in 70.3 Ironmans annually. My twenty-year-old little (big) brother, James, is a junior in college, competing on the swim team and even has a school record! As a family, we love biking country roads, running wooded trails, and open-water swimming in Lake Michigan.

Milk & Honey Ministries was created in the summer of 2014, serving to encourage women to fix their eyes on the only man able to fulfill every desire: Jesus Christ. When the Lord God helped His people escape the hardships of slavery in Egypt, He had a perfect plan to bring them "to a good land with wide-open spaces... a lush land overflowing with milk and honey" (Exodus 3:8). Similarly, the Lord wants to redeem His hurting, broken daughters and carry them into a free, clean life flowing of (symbolic) milk and honey! Life's tough for us gals; MTV, Cosmo, and the Billboard 100 give women unachievable standards to reach, and I once fell victim to that lifestyle. I challenged myself to have a stick-thin body, a million friends, and attention from every boy. Having met Christ, I now understand the truth: His grace and love is better than anything this world offers.

I could have a better body than Adriana from Victorias Secret, more fame than Tom Cruise, and more boyfriends than Rihanna, yet I would still have an empty heart & insecurity. Shrugging off these heavy burdens, I can now live a life focusing less on myself and more on those in need.  The key to happiness is knowing Jesus and following His call, wherever it may lead. Opening my arms to Him, He led me to Antigua, Guatemala where I served as a missionary for three-months during the fall of 2014. I am currently back in my hometown working in advertising.

Through the grace of Jesus, His strength allows me to do all the things He’s called of me.

Jesus is not only my savior; He’s Lord over my life.
