It'ssss myyyy birthdayyyy!

I love birthdays. I love the cake, the candles, the singing... the whole sha-bang. Today has been incredible.... Facebook posts, calls, texts, Linkedin messages (lol), voicemails, FLOWERS sent to my office from my besties in California, yummy sushi rolls for lunch with a dear friend, an EASTER EGG HUNT at work (yes you read that correctly), carrot cake with candles (my all-time favorite), and 6 greeting cards - 5 of which involved cats. This weekend my momsicle and I are gonna have a little shopping spree birthday party... and today a coworker bought me a gift certificate for a massage! (thanks Chad)

Birthdays are a special time to feel loved, to feel like a princess and wear a real crown, not an invisible crown like I mention above, although I opted for bunny ears today instead courtesy of mama Weslaski. It's a special time to know you're worthy, you're not forgotten, you're a blessing, and people love you. Thank you Jesus for my friends, family, and coworkers! Since it's my birthday, (muahaha) here's a few things I'm currently obsessed with:

Justin Beiber AGAIN Paige? Yes. Listen to it. And like it. Now.

Better'n Peanut Butter. Way low cal, low fat, and as addicting as crack. Lol, honestly, I bought it yesterday and it's half gone. I've been enjoying this scrumptousness with FLACKERS, a healthy cracker made of primarily flax seeds! Addicting, you've been warned. Forreal.

Don't mind me, I'm just pretending I have enough money for my dream car. If anyone needs last minute birthday ideas for me, here's a hint. Ha! I asked my dad to go halfsies, biggest fail of my life.

I don't know why this is sideways and can't for the life of me figure out how to fix it. Anyways, I just love these little hair flower arrangements! I have 2 now and still have yet to figure out if they're cute or awkward. Hm, yolo.

I so often think I know the right path for me. I get frustrated with myself easily, and it's so comforting knowing JESUS has a greater plan. This life is so short in the grand scheme of eternity in Heaven with Him. It's comforting knowing He died so I can live, no matter how many mistakes I've made, and will make.

Bethany Hamilton, a HUGE role model of mine, is pregnant! She and her husband are the cutest couple I think I've ever seen. How cool that she found a man who loves her for her, regardless of what happened to her in the past. She has some serious confidence we could all learn from. Watching a different interview from Bethany a year back, she said she would never settle with choosing a future husband. Look at her now, married to a stud surfer hottie. Bethany rocks!

Taylor and Karlie are evidence that tall is beautiful! As a 5'9'' gal myself, I can appreciate a tall woman. VS model Karlie is 6'1'' and couldn't be more gorgeous. (FYI: this Vogue shoot was done in Malibu at my friends ranch! Pretty sweet.)
