Hold out your hands in front of you. Really, hold them out.

Now, look closely at your hands. Look at the creases on your fingers and your palms. Look at the pink pigment and the veins on your pinky fingers and your thumbs. Look at the veins on your wrists.

Turn your hands around. Look at your nails and your knuckles. Does your index finger stick up higher than your ring finger? Are your fingers short and wide? Are they long and slim?

Jesus gave us hands. He gave us feet. He gave us brains, and mouths, and ears, and noses. He gave us fingers and toes.

We are given a small increment of time on this Earth, generally no longer than 100 years. The question is: how are we planning to use what we have been given by God during this short time?

Will we use our bodies to serve others? Will we glorify God with exercise, praise, joy, wisdom, and fun?

Will we achieve the God-given dreams He's planted in our minds?

Will we start that spin studio? Will we build that treehouse coffee shop? Will we run that marathon? Will we travel on that Fiji mission trip? Will we meet the President? Will we write that book? Will we adopt that child? Will we build that home on the lake? Will we enter Food Network's Chopped competition? Will we apply to Brown's grad school?

"Your right hand, O LORD, is majestic in power, Your right hand, O LORD, shatters the enemy. Exodus 15:6

We have the power to use our time efficiently and productively. That is, as long as we allow our hands to be vessels for God's glory. The #1 way to catapult ourselves into our dreams? Prayer. Pray to God for strength, unworldly confidence, trust, and a laid-out path. He answers prayers and DOES want to use us.

Trust in His ways, my little butterfly, and watch yourself soar.
