I have been blessed with such LOVELY, GODLY, FANTASTIC friends. Here's a few ways they've empowered me over the last week. Thanks to all my girlfriends for being such beautiful princesses inside and out!

As per my friend Jessica's suggestion, I ordered the book The Chase and just received it in the mail. Within one day, I'm halfway done! The story was written by a newlywed couple, Kelsey and Kyle Kupecky, about their love story. Kyle is a recording artist and Kelsey is the daughter of the bestselling author Karen Kingsbury. Karen wrote the prologue to the book, telling a little story of her own.
When Karen was on the last day of her honeymoon in Mexico, her and her husband prayed on the beach for their future children and their future children's spouses. It was August 1st, 1988 - the day her son in law was born.
If that isn't a God written love story, I don't know what is. Order the book here & watch the "book release" below. Ü
I occasionally get wrapped up in my fears, sometimes making decisions based off fear instead of love. Here's a great article my friend Carolin sent me about overcoming fear. So good, ladies! Check out this quote from the article:
When you feel fear, take that as a reminder to bring curiosity to the moment. Something new is on the other side of it. If you act in spite of the fear, something exciting is going to go down. Nine times out of ten you’ll end up gaining some situational benefit, and ten times out of ten, you’ll feel stronger immediately.
Don't be crippled by fear! Life is 100% fatal anyways (before Heaven). Go big and trust in God's plan!
I took a trip to Rockford, IL last week with some politicians and business leaders for a conference. Out of everything I learned, this Eleanor Roosevelt quote was the best. What a quote to live by!

My friend Hanna sent me this quote. Thanks Hanna!
Gentle Reminder: you can uplift yourself without having to bring others down. You can embrace your curves without having to insult skinny girls. You can appreciate your natural beauty without having to shame girls who wear a lot of makeup or have gotten plastic surgery. You can be the girl who likes staying home without having to criticize the girl who likes to party and have a good time. You can be proud of your unique individuality without having to brag about how different you are from 'other girls'. Similarly, you can empower yourself without having to tear other women down.
