The Narrow Path ❤

Sheep are mentioned time and time again throughout the Bible. Sheep... of all animals. What's so special about sheep? They travels in packs, have literally no defense against predators, and don't have a "strong" or "tough" demeanor, at all. They're followers, not leaders.
Why, then, are humans constantly compared to sheep? Welp, maybe we aren't as perfect as we sometimes figure. The truth is, just like sheep, we desperately need to be led. We need a shepherd to step in and guide us down the right path. How else can we be safe from dangers of the "wild," aka the world?
Sheep have terrible eyesight, yet their hearing is impeccable. As Jesus's sheep, we may not see where He's leading us, but we can hear His call. He knows our future and will guide us down the correct path if we trust Him enough to follow. We walk by faith and not by sight, sisters.
Here's some great verses about sheep in the Word of God. Don't just skim them. Soak them in. His Word is the living, breathing word of God. Contemplate His words and allow them to penetrate into your soul. You are His sheep, after all, honeybee.

- Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Psalm 100:3
- When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Matthew 9:36
- What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. Luke 15:4-9
- I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. John 10:11
- The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers. John 10:15-16
- The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Psalm 23:1-6
