☠☠ Idolization

I'm a huge J Biebs fan. If you closely follow my blog, I'd say it's fairly obvious. I have seen him in concert and once saw him dancing in a grocery store parking lot during my time living in Malibu. I love his new CD Purpose and would be lying if I said I didn't listen to it in the car this morning.
He's a pretty popular dude. I read about him in GQ the other day while getting my hair done. Apparently he's currently living in a rooftop suite of a Beverly Hills hotel, his permanent residence of the last two years.
He's not dumb, either. He's a smart kid. He understands how worshipped he is by the general population, but according to a recent interview with Complex Mag, he's taking a humble mindset.
“I just wanna honestly live like Jesus. Not be Jesus—I could never—I don’t want that to come across weird. He created a pretty awesome template of how to love people and how to be gracious and kind. If you believe it, he died for our sins," Bieber explained.
“I suck by myself (without Christ). Like, when I’m by myself and I feel like I have nothing to lean on? Terrible. Terrible person. If I was doing this on my own, I would constantly be doing things that are, I mean, I still am doing things that are stupid, but… It just gives me some sort of hope and something to grasp onto, and a feeling of security, and a feeling of being wanted, and a feeling of being desired."
Justin knows what's up. He understands man isn't meant to be worshipped. Jesus alone deserves the praise.
Beloved, wait for a man with this mindset. Don't settle for a man who puffs himself up and acts like he doesn't need Christ. If the world's biggest pop star needs Christ, every man needs Christ.
