From Lucifer to Satan
30 March, 2013

Eve was so beautiful; she was wonderfully pieced together by the breath of God. She was God's little princess, made completely in His image. He took pride in her charm and grace, knowing that she was perfect in His eyes. She was His darling daughter, and He provided her (and her mate, Adam) with more love and nourishment than anyone else, ever.
Meanwhile, God's most marvelous, important, and powerful angel, Lucifer, became prideful and was cast out of his home in Heaven. Because of this fall, his only goal is to drag us down with him, starting with God's beloved Eve. Satan told her that eating the apple would make her just like God. Even though the Lord had given her everything her heart desired, she still decided to turn against Him, just like many of us do the same. Satan doesn't want to be the only one locked out of heaven, so he perverts our thoughts into thinking that God isn't the only thing that can fill us.
If you want an example of how to fall away from God, reflect on how the magnificent Lucifer morphed into a dirty, evil serpent through pride. If you want an example of how to live a God-fulfilling life of true humility, look to the cross.
My heart is flooded with God's love, therefore I shall never be put to shame.
-Paul the Apostle
