Teaser_skigebiet_abfahrt

Ayooo! So, on my way out of work today I ran into a teacher from my old K-8 school. I hadn't seen him since, well, I graduated from 8th grade, and it was wonderful catching up. I decided to take the long way home to drive past my old school. I drove through the parking lot and sat there for a bit, reminiscing on old times with my grade-school friends. It's crazy how fast time goes and how quickly things and people (including yourself) can change. I decided to do an old-school blog post today... remember back in the Myspace days how everyone would answer those survey's and post them? Well, it's your lucky day...

Four Things I Love

1. finishing a long run and jumping into a pool with all my clothes on
2. sliding off a ski lift without falling (really, it took me awhile)
3. sitting in a hottub after a long swim set
4. lighting vanilla candles, cozying up in my bed with all my blankets, and reading with some jazz Pandora in the background on a snowy night. um, yes.

Four Movies I Love

I don't even think I can name four... I really like sports documentaries. There's some good triathlete doc's on YouTube, and I love Tim Tebow's Everything In Between and the one on Ray Lewis. I liked HBO's documentary on Manny Pac and another on Kevin Durant. I like the movie Rocky. I also like Breakfast at Tiffany's. God's Not Dead was super great. I like the movie Courageous. And of course the cutesy girly movies like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Pretty Woman, etc. Oh and I love comedies (Dumb and Dumber, Tommy Boy...)

Four Places I’ve Lived

Hm. I started in New York for college, transferred to California, studied abroad in Europe, and worked as a missionary in Guatemala. So, perfect, four!

Four Foods I Hate

Honestly, this sounds weird, but I hate the foods most people love because I'm a health nut. I hate Taco Bell, I always get a stomach ache. I rarely eat fast food. I'm not a huge asparagus fan. I don't eat soy sauce or sour kraut because I'm histamine sensitive. I don't eat dairy because I'm lactose intolerant. I don't eat a ton of ground beef, either, but I do love the occasional steak.

Four Dinner Foods I Love

1. Sweet potatoes!
2. Grilled chicken with italian marinade
3. Basically any vegetable
4. Turkey meatballs

Four "Sweets" I Love

1. Popcorn (does that count?)
2. Berries and cereal
3. Chickpea cookie dough (seriously amazzzeee, recipe below)
4. Apple, bacon, and almond butter sandwich (don't hate it till ya try it)

Four Favorite Bible Books

1. Romans
2. Mark
3. Exodus
4. Ruth.... and Psalms... and Revelation

Four Lessons Learned

1. If it makes your head hurt, don't do it.
2. No one care's about the little things. Just do you.
3. Stay hydrated. Like, for real.
4. If you don't do it, someone else will.

Four of My Favorite Books

1. Simpler Times by Thomas Kinkade
2. No Limits by Michael Phelps
3. The Bible (obviously)
4. The Skinny Confidential by Lauryn Evarts

Four People To Meet (Dead or Alive)

Jackie Kennedy, Audrey Hepburn, Frank Sinatra, and Jesus. And Princess Diana. And Grace Kelly and James Dean. And Warren Weirsbe. And Peter and Paul and Joseph and Abraham. (fun fact: Gronk answered this in an ESPN interview; his answer? Pamela Anderson, Drake and Jay Z......lol)
