Kourt, Scott, and Jesus

Coolest part about reading the Bible? Knowing the same God who dealt with Moses and Jacob and Joseph and Adam and Eve is the one who hears our prayers. Isn't that nuts? He literally spoke the world into existence and we have the ability to talk to Him.

When I was living in Los Angeles, I would see celebrities on a somewhat regular basis. I talked to a small handful of them, but for the most part didn't want to be intrusive so I merely smiled and went on my merry way (only to write a FB status about it later, thinking I was so darn cool).

If I got that excited seeing celebs - normal humans who deal with stress as much as the next person - why am I not ecstatic talking with the God of the entire world? Why does God get a bad rap for being "boring?" Don't we realize He's the one who created those celebrities in the first place? Don't we realize He's actually the coolest celebrity ever?

I advise us all to Keep Up with the Kards God

The same God who told Noah to build a massive ark and gave David power to kill Goliath and saved Daniel from the fiery furnace and put Jonah in a whale and fed 5,000 people through Jesus Christ is ready to speak to you. There's no need to set up an appointment, He's always ready. Unlike celebrities, He won't act like He's too cool for you - He'll be jumping up and down for joy to spend some quality time with ya, babe.

What other celebrity can we call up any time of the day or night? Talk about some sweet connections. Sorry Kourt and Scott, you're cool and all, and your reality show can be quite entertaining, but God's the only reality I need in my life.
