Rainy Tuesday Gems

I am a sucker for old movies. Curling up in a king sized bed, eating popcorn (Skinny Pop = my weakness), drinking a HEALTHY milkshake (recipe HERE), and watching a classic movie is arguably the most charming way to spend an evening.

Breakfast at Tiffany's, Singin' in the Rain, Rear Window, Gone with the Wind, Mary Poppins, The Wizard of Oz... there is something so calming and quiet to the spirit about watching films 50+ years old.

With all this red moon talk on Sunday night, the scene from It's a Wonderful Life couldn't be more fitting. George tells his beloved Mary he is willing to give her anything and everything... even the moon! What girl doesn't want a man who can promise her everything he has?

With that - I encourage all you ladies to wait for Mr. Right. If a man is dragging you away from knowing Christ, they are not for you. Wait for a man that wants to cherish you and adore you... and help you grow in your faith. Wait for a George, princess. God will provide.
